I’ve got friends asking me whether Grand Theft Auto (GTA 4) will be on Nintendo Wii or not. I’ve heard this question asked since December 2006 (when Nintendo Wii was released) and although there were rumors flying around saying that Nintendo and Take 2 might be working together to get GTA onto Wii, it seems that this has been all talk but no action.

Just FYI, GTA used to be a playstation exclusive game. Another game that is playsation exclusive is the popular metal gear solid franchise, which has just released their newest title Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots

For all those who want to play GTA and MGS on Wii, I feel for you, but it seems that’s the way it is.

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, is a next-gen experience complete with top-of-the-line graphics and surround sound designed for the Sony PlayStation 3. Featuring the most revealing display of Kojima Production’s premier title, MSG4 details the world where Snake must under go his final mission. In a world overrun by private military companies (PMCs), wars are no longer fought over nations or ideologies. Instead, the wars of the future are micro-managed by overarching PMCs, right down to the bullet. New gadgets and abilities fuel Snake’s journey deep into the enemy domains of the Middle East, South America, and beyond. New gear includes “Metal Gear Mk. II,” the ultimate reconnaissance tool, and “Solid Eye,” which gives Snake real-time information on enemies and his surroundings.

So I was in a game shop and was shopping for some games. Two guys came in and from their conversation I can tell that one owns a Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 and the other owns a Nintendo Wii. So the richer and boastful pal was talking of how good it was to play on his PS3 and 360, comparing guitar hero on PS3 and 360 (where Wii don’t carry that game yet), and how Wii sucks in terms of graphics processing.

I find it kind of hard to stand/understand this kind of people.

First off, games should be shared and fun, not for boasting.

Wii doesn’t suck. It’s the best selling console and the market proves it over and over again. Wii is out of stock again in many places due to an influx of new buyers who want to play Wii Fit.

Yeah, Wii’s graphics might not be that great, but you probably need a microscope to see that difference. Respect others who chooses to own one, and people will respect you back.
