Belgium European nation has outlawed game rental. Many gamers call this move a ridiculous. Kotaku reports that stockists in Belgium have been unable to buy new titles for rental purposes since June in preparation for the change. As of December 1st, however, it will become completely illegal to rent any games software. Shops are unable to buy any new game for the purpose of rental since June. In December, the law will come in fully; meaning no Belgian gamer will be able to rent any games. Gamers believe that this fever will not spread to other nations around the world.

Originally, this game was released in Japan in April 2006. Nintendo American had no interest on localizing this product, so in November 2006 group of fans got together and started their own localization project for this game. For last two years team of translators and hackers worked together to achieve this goal. On October 17, 2008, version 1.0 of the fan translation was released.

Sony has announced in their official blog (http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008/10/21/psp-playstation-portable-v501-update/) that their new PSP firmware is coming very soon. The new PSP firmware fixes a bug in version 5.00 which affected the Memory Stick Duo. Version 5.00 was only released this time last week. 8GB and 16GB versions of Sony's proprietary storage cards were not being read properly by the PSP and telling users that there wasn't enough free space to store downloaded files into PSP even though enough space was in fact available. According to Sony this firmware update will fix the problem.

Despite PlayStation 3 sales up, Sony’s profit down 72%. Sony reported from Tokyo, a quarterly profit decreased of 72%. Even though PlayStation 3 sales doubled compare to last year this time. The company said it sold 2.43 million PlayStation 3 consoles during the quarter, an increase of 86% over the same period a year ago. Sony said Wednesday it posted a net profit of 20.8 billion yen ($214 million) for the July-September period compared with 73.7 billion yen a year earlier. Greetings guys and girls I've got some great news to report which should make you all really proud. Recent sales of consoles and computer-games are breaking all kinds of cool records, in Europe especially in my country the UK including the single biggest week at retail. This isn't surprising if you've been shopping at oxford street like I have not to buy anything too expensive. All my money goes on video games and I'm far too cheap ;) surprise surprise.
