Nintendo DSi

Nintendo has officially confirmed that the software for Nintendo DSi will be region specific software. Even games will be region specific that means Ausie users can’t play European games and vice versa.

Current Nintendo DS and Game Cube are free of such locks and it has become a surprise issue to gamers around the world. In Nintendo’s argument “DSi is more than just a gaming console. Nintendo aims to provide online services which are specific for separate regions”.
