Fall Out 3

One of the most anticipated games “Fall Out 3” has been approved to be released in Aussie market after editing several parts, such as portrayal of drug use. Last month Fall out had been refused classification for realistically portraying drugs as an “incentive or reward” for players.

After the removal of the particular segment, the game has been given MA15+. Since there is no R18+ in Australia, it has to pass MA15+ rating to hit the market.

In the game players can use some real world drugs to alter the abilities of the character. After the game was denied a rating by the Office of Film and Literature Classification, Bethesda resubmitted an edited version of Fallout 3 for release in Australia.

Fallout 3 is the latest game to be edited for release in Australia after other blockbuster titles including Grand Theft Auto IV and Solder Of Fortune: Payback. Seems game industry will have tough time in Australia.
