If your a gamer like myself and as your reading this the chances are that you probably are you will be delighted that xbox live are letting users download a xbox live arcade title for free:)

Why I hear you ask?  Has xbox gone crazy? Well yes but not for the reasons you may think:) Well General Manager of Xbox Live Marc Whitten has informed us due to the poor service for xbox live users over the festive break, where it was almost impossible to get a game online due to the massive number of people using the system as well as new signups, the traffic was apparently too much for the servers to handle.

I spent age’ s online trying to get a game of call of duty 4 and all my friends online experienced exactly the same thing also screen freezes and image’s not loading were commonplace.

I really hope the staff at xbox werent suffering from a alcholol related ilness brought on by a excess of christmas booze and mince pies

It remains to be seen exactly what game you will be allowed to download. Personally I’m hoping its a free choice. In that case I’d go for bomerman but I’ve got a horrible feeling its gonna be some horrible tripe like a rehashed version of space invaders or some other umnpopular title that no one wants.

It remains to be seen if Marc Whitten will follow through with his promise I’ll keep you informed.
