From the same team at Konami that brought us Elebits, Dewy’s Adventure (tentative title) is a game coming to the Wii, starring a droplet of water.

Well, Dewy, the magical drop of water, will be fighting off dark water which is corrupting the land. To move him around, we’ll tilt the Wiimote and he’ll slide. Other gameplay mechanics include shaking the Wiimote to cause an earthquake. Now, like all water, Dewy can change states depending on his temperature. If we cool him off, he’ll turn icy and be able to deal with enemies, but he’ll be slippery and harder to control. If we heat him up, he can turn into gas and reach higher areas or be blown around by the wind. The game will also feature split-screen 2-player mode, a level editing mode, and WiiConnect features to send levels to friends. The release is slated for some time this year.
