
The American game mag Electronic Gaming Monthly (EGM) has given out details that for the upcoming new half life 2 expansion, instead of the confusing name of “Half Life 2: Episode 2 featuring Portal and Team Fortress 2″, the pack will be called “Half Life 2: Orange”.
When did games start using fruit’s name? Or is it intended to be a color’s name? Yeah, color maybe (an obvious one that I can recall will be C&C: Red Alert). But using a fruit’s name? Why not use watermelon, grapes, lemon, apricot… …?
Whatever fruit they choose, I don’t think there will be any company who dares to use the word Apple in their game title. Simply because Apple has been notorius in filing law suits on patent/name infringement. Hey, it’s just a fruit’s name! But, it’s a multi billion name…
