When the power of Disney and Final Fantasy combines, you get Kingdoms Heart! If you think Kingdom Hearts II was one of the best games you’ve ever played, what should you expect from Kingdom Hearts 3 in 2007?
In a recent copy of the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, it’s no surprise that Kingdom Hearts’ producer Tetsuya Nomura promised big movements in the Kingdom Hearts series in 2007.
The biggest surprise is that it sounds like we’ll be seeing Kingdom Hearts games on multiple machines. Odds are that Kingdom Hearts 3 will remain a PlayStation exclusive, much like the first and second games. Wouldn’t it be great if we could actually play it on Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, PSP or the DS?
It’s kind of like beating around the bush for a moment, but plans are plans. But if it does get implemented, I’m sure I’m not the only one shouting of joy.

Ak-47, you do have a point. As a game publisher, why should they limit themselves to only a specific console? Wouldn’t they wanna earn more money by selling the same game to different platforms? Of course, there are issue with getting a license before you could actually commercialize your game. Adding that with human and technical expertise, i think that what’s stopping/limiting publishers to actually have a go on all platforms.
Now that you could actually write your own games for Xbox 360 using Visual Studio .NET (you still need to pay to get it running on your xbox 360), this might encourage more ppl (amateurs??) to have a look into xbox360.
Yet, of course, games like kingdoms heart takes more than a great idea to hit the jackpot. The partnership exclusively with sony definately gave them a good start.
