Xbox Live Hits 50 Million Downloads Milestone

Xbox Live has been going from strength to strength over the past six months or so and now has reached a fresh milestone. Some 50 million downloads have been made from the service and gamers have clocked up over 2 billion hours using it. As further proof that Xbox Live’s micropayment system really does work, players have now bought over 2 billion Microsoft points and 65 percent of 360 owners connected to Xbox Live have played digitally distributed content.
