Jessica Simpsons seems pretty fine these days. After parting with ex-husband Nick Lachey, she has no problem finding herself back. In Us Weekly’s August 29, 2006 issue, Simpson even confirmed a new relationship with singer John Mayer. A talented artist who has worked in music, television, film, and fashion, Jessica Simpson has become an international superstar, and shows no signs of slowing down. But surely the high point of her career to date is being named the Xbox Live® Artist of the Month for September!

Her newest album, A Public Affair, was released on August 29, features ten songs co-written by Simpson herself, and includes collaborations with music production all-stars likeLester Mendez, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Cory Rooney, Scott Storch, and Stargate.

The title track, “A Public Affair”, has received rave reviews for its infectious dance beat. The music video, directed by X-Men 3’s Brett Ratner, debuted at number six on MTV’s Total Request Live. A Public Affair includes a variety of tracks to showcase Jessica’s talents, including dance tracks, ballads, and an inspired cover of “Let Him Fly” by Patty Griffith, a favorite of Jessica’s.

Jessica has won several awards, including Teen Choice and MTV Music Awards. She has graced the covers of numerous magazine covers, including Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, and Marie Claire. Jessica also looks forward to continuing her work with Operation Smile, as their International Youth Ambassador. Her next venture is co-starring with Dane Cook in the upcoming film Employee of the Month.
