From Nintendo’s annual report, CEO Satoru Iwata’s message has a couple of interesting facts. He notes that Nintendo’s goal is to expand the gaming population. Along those lines, creative new games such as Nintendogs are roping in more and more non-gamers. Nintendogs has sold more than 6.65 million copies worldwide, and the Brain Training titles (Brain Age and Big Brain Academy) have sold more than 5.1 million units in the Japan market alone.

Lifetime sales of the GBA have hit 75.1 million. The GameCube has hit 20.9 million, and the DS has hit 16.7 million, while the original GameBoy is at 118.7 million. Nintendo has sold more than 327.1 million games for the GBA, 189.1 million GameCube games, and 60.4 million DS games.
