Nintendo will employ the term “Gesture System” to market the Revolution’s innovative remote controller to consumers.

The Revolution’s remote controller will allow players to control games with hand gestures that will register to the console via a remote sensor.

Last year, Nintendo coined the term “Play Control System” to describe a password-controlled setting that will allow adults to limit video game content for younger players.

The Nintendo Revolution will play new game discs, GameCube discs, and include downloadable access to previous Nintendo console games.

The final system will debut next month at a trade show in Los Angeles and be released in time for the Thanksgiving holiday this year.
