Accroding to sales results from GameStop for the nine-week holiday period ending December 31, 2005, the top new video games sold during the holiday period were WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2006 from THQ(PSP/PS2), Star Wars Battlefront II(XBox/PS2), DS Mario Kart from Nintendo, and XB360 Call of Duty 2 from Activision.
